Northland Industrial Park will be an attractive gateway to Parkland. A County welcome sign in a colorful flower bed, backed by gently rolling terrain planted with native species, blends into a recreation area featuring sports fields, walking trails and picnic areas. Further west, a public recycling depot and mini-storage units are surrounded by a landscaped buffer. Industrial recycling and transfer operations are set well back from the roadways, to avoid any adverse impact on adjacent lands.
